Michael Bailey

Michael Bailey is a multi-award-winning author, editor, and book designer, and the recipient of over two dozen literary accolades, including the Bram Stoker Awards, Benjamin Franklin Awards, Eric Hoffer Book Awards, Independent Publisher Book Awards, the Indie Book Awards, the International Book Awards, and others. His nonlinear novels include Palindrome Hannah, Phoenix Rose, and Psychotropic Dragon, and he has published two short story and poetry collections, Scales and Petals and Inkblots and Blood Spots (illustrated by Daniele Serra and Introduced by Douglas E. Winter), and Enso, a children’s book. He has created anthologies such as Qualia Nous, The Library of the Dead (illustrated by GAK), three volumes of Choooooiral Mad (the last illustrated by Glenn Chadbourne and introduced by Chuck Palahniuk), You, Human (illustrated by L.A. Spooner and Orion Zangara), and a series of illustrated books, among other projects.

His suspense story, "Scrub," was published in Uncommon Assassins.

 

His horror story, "Primal Tongue," appeared in Zippered Flesh 2: More Tales of Body Enhancements Gone Bad. The story was nominated for a Bram Stoker Award.
