Born and raised in Connecticut, Doug Rinaldi spent his formative years exploring everywhere from the library to the woods near home. He envisioned otherworldly scenarios that ignited his imagination, inventing horrifying tales about devious lunch ladies and world-eating monsters. 

Throughout adolescence and into adulthood, he loved to create. Whether through drawing, graphic design, or writing, art was his life. In 1995, he received his art degree in Computer Animation and Special Effects for stage and screen. However, writing dark fiction was his true calling. At the turn of the millennium, he bid his home state a final farewell and relocated to Massachusetts where he's been honing his writing and artistic skills ever since.
