Kevin
P. Thornton has had about twenty-five short stories published and has been
shortlisted seven times for the Crime Writers of Canada annual awards. He
served in the South African Air Force and worked for the Canadian military in
Afghanistan. He was in a bomb blast in a bar in Johannesburg and under mortar
attack in Kabul. If you see him running, go the other way—he’s unlucky. He
lives in Fort McMurray in Canada, with the kind of life that deserves a picket
