Gail Husch lives in Wilmington, DE, teaches art history at Goucher College, and has published articles and a book about aspects of nineteenth-century American art. In recent years, she has turned to fiction, completing The Button Field, a novel set in the late nineteenth century based on the real-life disappearance of a student from Mount Holyoke College, as well as several short stories set in the present. She is currently working on another historical novel, this time dealing with the consequences of a mysterious appearance. Gail is a member of the Written Remains Writers Guild.
